David Gandy Launching Underwear Collection And Modeling In The Campaign

David Beckham is soon going to have some stiff competition in the underwear department. The one and only male supermodel in the entire world, fellow Brit David Gandy, is set to launch an exclusive 28-piece underwear collection–David Gandy for Autograph–with Marks & Spencer in September of this year. Will the world be able to handle the combined hotness of both David Beckham’s H&M collection and David Gandy for Autograph? Probably not.

Just kidding, we actually can’t wait. Gandy, who seems to be diversifying his talents a lot lately–first staring in J. Lo’s new video and now sketching and choosing fabrics for his collection–will, naturally, be modeling in the advertising campaign as well. So we can all be thankful that he hasn’t left this career path just yet. “I still enjoy modelling and that has given me various opportunities to explore other things too – it will always be at the heart of whatever I do,” he told British Vogue.

If history repeats itself, David Gandy for Autograph is set to do very, very well. Fellow British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Autograph underwear collection was the fastest selling collection in Marks & Spencer history. Spanning sleepwear as well as boxers and briefs, Gandy’s collection will debut on September 18 in London, and will be available online and in Marks & Spencer stores shortly after.

We’ll be here all summer patiently waiting for the promo images to come out.
