Talk of design and performance dominate automotive writing and forums, but there is a lot to be said for interiors. Take BMW’s i3 interior which was recently recognized for its interior innovation. 25 percent of the plastic used is recycled, the seats are made from recycled goods, the roofliner and other textiles are also the product of sustainable production. While all that is great for the environment BMW was able to also utilize to create an interior that is very pleasing to the eye, a feat you don’t often see in green products.
